Spay/Neuter Clinics

Spay/Neuter Clinics

Santa Rosa, California

We provide monthly low-cost, subsidized Spay/Neuter Clinics for pets in our community to address one of the primary causes of animal homelessness. Spay/neuter is one of the most effective ways to prevent unwanted litters and break the cycle of dogs and cats being born into already overburdened shelters or left to struggle on the streets. By making this essential service accessible and affordable, we not only reduce the number of animals abandoned or surrendered, but also improve the health and wellbeing of pets in our community.

Home for Hope Spay/Neuter Clinics

Puerto Penasco, Mexico

For over 25 years, CWOB has been bringing access to spay/neuter services to under-resourced communities where they are needed most. In Mexico, unwanted dogs and cats roam the streets in the hundreds of thousands, and in many impoverished neighborhoods, access to veterinary care simply does not exist.

Through our free, high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter clinic in Mexico, we provide sterilization services to more than 5,000 animals every year. By preventing thousands of unwanted litters, we address one of the root causes of animal homelessness, reduce suffering on the streets, and create healthier, more compassionate communities for both animals and people.
